Request a Quote for our 20-Yard Roro Skip

Why Choose a 20-Yard Skip?

A great alternative for any projects or operations that produce a lot of waste, commonly used across construction and other commercial sectors for major refurbishments. The Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) skip is large and convenient for most professional uses.

Our range 20-yard skips are the perfect choice to dispose of light bulky wastes such as cardboard, wood, furniture, plastic and metal. They can hold up to and around 300 bin bags of waste. Other skip hire sizes are available.

You must use private land to place your skips. Otherwise, you will require a skip hire permit to place your skip on the public highway, should private land not be available. This may incur additional charges from the relevant local authority, as well as the cost of hire. The charges for skip hire permits and their enforcement vary regionally.

The customer is charged for all permits. The charge is non-refundable in the event the permit is declined by the local authority.

Skips are delivered in the day of hire between 7am and 5.30pm. Specific time periods are available on request at the time of booking.

The location of the skip must be in an accessible location for a skip lorry and must be clear from obstruction for both the delivery and the collection.

Some waste material cannot be loaded into the skip. More information on permitted waste streams for skip hire can be found on our terms and conditions.

Some prohibited waste examples include:

  • Paint tins
  • Plasterboard
  • Mattresses
  • Electronic equipment
  • Fridges and freezers

Full details can be found in our terms and conditions.

The delivery location must be considered whenever you hire a 20-yard skip. Private land can be used for any skip hire, but we understand that space is often limiting.

If your 20-yard skip cannot be placed on private land, a skip hire permit will need to be obtained. This allows you to place the skip on a public road, should the local authority approve your permit.

Most materials can be disposed of in our 20-yard skips, but hazardous materials are prohibited.
