Reconomy backs colleague competing at the 2026 Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Canada

Reconomy, the international circular economy specialist, is pleased to announce that it is supporting its colleague, Shaunni Clutterbuck, who works at its AWS Nationwide brand, through sponsorship as she prepares to compete at the 2026 Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Canada this September.

The event features both classic and equipped lifting across all age categories, with Shaunni competing in the 84+ Open Equipped Full Power category. This is a heavyweight powerlifting division where athletes over 84 kg compete in all three lifts – squat, bench press and deadlift. The sponsorship will help towards the costs of flights, accommodation, the team tracksuit, competing kit, entry fees, physio sessions and more.

Shaunni has been competing in powerlifting for the past three years and won the 84+ class at the All England Open Championships, and was also the Best Overall Female Lifter across all female weight classes. She holds several other impressive accolades, including, in 2026, Silver at the British Full Power Championships, English Full Power Champion and Overall Best Lifter. In 2025, she was the British Full Power Champion, English Bench Champion and South Midlands Bench Record Holder. She also won gold medals in bench, squat and deadlift, along with overall silver and team silver while representing Great Britain at the Western European Championships in Finland.

The Championships are organised by the Commonwealth Powerlifting Federation and bring together athletes from across the Commonwealth to compete at the highest level in the sport.
