Reconomy shortlisted for ESG Best Performer of the Year at the Green Awards UK 2026

We’re delighted that Reconomy has been shortlisted for ESG Best Performer of the Year at the Green Awards UK 2026.

The award recognises businesses setting the standard for environmental, social and governance excellence, and the shortlisting is a fantastic reflection of the passion, expertise and commitment of Reconomy’s teams around the world.

Through our Action: 2030 strategy, our colleagues are helping to accelerate the circular economy, reduce emissions, support communities and create more inclusive and rewarding workplaces.

In 2025, Reconomy achieved a 17.8% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions against its 2021 baseline, while all UK brands used 100% renewable electricity. Our teams also generated £1.5 million in social value, contributed 2,949 volunteering hours and created opportunities for 23 interns and 10 apprentices.

The recognition follows Reconomy’s recent shortlisting for the Circular and Recycling – Remake – Award at the National Sustainability Awards 2026.
