Reconomy recognised as one of the UK’s best privately managed companies for second year running by Deloitte

Reconomy, the leading international circular economy specialist, has been recognised as one of the top-performing private businesses in the UK in the 2026 Deloitte Best Managed Companies awards, marking the second consecutive year it has received the accolade.

The awards form part of the UK’s Best Managed Companies programme, which celebrates exceptional private businesses across the UK. Companies are assessed against global benchmarks and undergo a rigorous evaluation process, with only the strongest performers awarded the designation.

Reconomy was commended for its strong financial and operational performance, driven by record levels of new business as leading brands seek to improve the circularity of their operations.

The award highlighted Reconomy’s continued international expansion, with the business completing five acquisitions last year, four of which were in North America. Operations are increasingly balanced across the Americas, the UK, and Europe, and Reconomy now serves more than 25,000 customers across 175 countries, with over 4,300 colleagues across 69 sites and offices globally.

The programme also acknowledged Reconomy’s ongoing investment in its differentiated technology, data, research and technical expertise, with the business investing approximately £30 million to further enhance these capabilities, alongside expanding its suite of products and circular economy solutions, to deliver even stronger outcomes for customers.
