Reconomy predicting a bright future as latest Sustainability Report is launched

Leading outsourced waste management service provider, Reconomy, has launched the latest edition of its Sustainability Report, detailing the company’s bright vision for the future.
Reconomy is committed to pioneering change across the business community by transforming attitudes towards waste minimisation and managements. The Sustainability Report outlines the company’s ambitions for achieving this by stimulating the reuse and recycling of materials wherever possible.
Highlights of the Sustainability Report include:
   – Waste handled per annum has grown to approximately 3million tonnes   – For the third year running, 93% of all the waste managed by Reconomy was diverted away from landfill   – Recorded sales growth jumped by 34% last year, increasing the company’s turnover to £87.4m.
The report also outlines Reconomy’s 4Ps’ approach to sustainability, which is a step-by-step plan for improving the environment in order to benefit the company’s people and partners, along with our planet, whilst also providing opportunities to maximise profitability.
