Reconomy Acquires Network Waste

Reconomy, the UK’s leading provider of outsourced waste management services, has today (Thursday 8th October 2015) confirmed the acquisition of Just Hire UK Limited trading as Network Waste.
The acquisition, the second for Reconomy this year following the purchase of Countrywide Waste Management Ltd in January 2015, maintains the significant period of growth for the Telford based company over the last four years.
Paul Cox, Managing Director of Reconomy commenting on the deal said, “We are delighted with the acquisition of Network Waste ““ it’s an excellent business and like Reconomy it has a strong team that is performing well. It has been very successful in recent years with an excellent customer base which complements that of Reconomy.  The business has a strong focus on staff development and a company culture that we feel will not only work well with Reconomy but also help us to grow and enhance our unique approach to waste management.
“The acquisition of Network Waste further underlines Reconomy’s position as a clear leader in its field and we are looking forward to working together to develop the combined business.”
The move to acquire Network Waste builds on Reconomy’s impressive growth since 2011, which saw them enter the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management (CIWM) top 10 of fastest growing waste companies in 2014.
This growth, led by a number of prestigious contract wins including Kier, Morgan Sindall and Lendlease, plus the renewal of its contract with Construction giant Balfour Beatty, is leading Reconomy to reach new heights during 2015.
Mr Cox continued, “We still feel there is additional growth out there for Reconomy.  We are not a company to rest on our laurels and we will always continue to move forward, looking ahead as to how we can improve, grow and develop ourselves well beyond the expectations of a traditional waste management provider.
“We will continue to invest in Network Waste and look to strengthen our workforce in the coming weeks and months to ensure we maintain a first class service to our customers.  There is no denying it’s been an incredibly busy period for all involved at Reconomy, however we are all excited by the challenge of continuing this growth into 2016 and beyond.”
Shropshire based Reconomy is the UK’s leading provider of outsourced waste management services to the construction, house building infrastructure and industrial and commercial sectors.
