A long-term employee of leading outsourced waste management service provider, Reconomy, has become the latest team member to be elevated into a more senior position as the company continues its strategy of promoting from within.
Mike Wright, who has amassed 17 years’ service at Reconomy, has this week been named as the company’s new Corporate Account Manager. This position will see Mike take overall account management responsibility for two nationally-operating Reconomy clients from within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
Having joined the company in February 2001, Mike began his Reconomy career as a customer services representative before steadily rising through the ranks and moving into account management. Having earned the respect of his peers and the many customers he has served; this latest promotion sees Mike rewarded for his longevity of service together with his hard work and diligence.
Reconomy has a long-established reputation for promoting from within its own ranks, with 22% of staff with over 5 years’ service having been promoted during their time at the company. Last year Reconomy’s internal training academy delivered over 2,000 hours of training to its staff members to help maximise their career potential.
