Sustainable Giants

Big businesses from around the globe are bidding to become more sustainable on a daily basis. That got us thinking: who in the world could be considered the biggest sustainable giant? In order to come up with an answer, we utilised the traditional top 100 leaderboard created by Corporate Knights in line with companies You Gov rank as having the highest public perception to populate a total of 157. This list was then cross-referenced with information available from social media and, equally, each individual business’ strategy to discover who is leading change and dominating the conversation.

Methodology

In order to calculate the biggest sustainable giants, waste management specialists Reconomy used data from Corporate Knights’ Top 100 Most Sustainable Companies in line with companies who rank highest on You Gov in terms of public perception in a cross-referenced format with a data-pull we set up for both Twitter and LinkedIn, and the companies’ individual business strategies.
