What we do
As manufacturing processes continue to streamline, so should your waste processes. Our team are experts in our field, with our finger on the latest trends in the industry, making us adept at providing you with the best advice on how best to manage the materials that are discarded from your business.
To deliver an effective and tailored solution, we will work closely with you to deeply understand your business objectives. Our approach is built around flexibility and typically we will uncover new opportunities that can enhance performance.
We believe the best way to manage waste is to avoid creating it in the first place, and our waste minimisation programmes aim to do exactly that. Helping you build a clear strategy toward waste minimisation, we will analyse your existing waste streams to identify ways to prevent waste from being generated in the first place.
Furthermore, we can help your business to be zero to landfill and offer schemes for ordinarily difficult-to-process streams, such as glassine and silicon packaging, waste foil, PVC banners and fibre-based and laminated packaging.
How we do it
- Ensure 100% legal and environmental compliance with provenance
- Simplify existing procedural and reduce administrative burden
- Utilise a supply chain that is empowered to embrace social and environmental challenges
- Enhance your sustainability performance, environmental credentials and brand reputation
Zero PVC 2 landfill scheme
PVC banners have historically been a challenging waste stream to deal with in an environmentally friendly way due to their polymer makeup. So, for many wide format printers, the disposal route for surplus or wasted banner material is landfill.
Reconomy has a route that avoids this and instead recycles the material back into other products such as horse bedding or plastic based products such as traffic cones. In a time when the environment is at the forefront of all of our minds, we are now able to provide a positive route for this material.Enquire now
