Recycling equipment

This is both technologically advanced and environmentally friendly, due to the equipment being used time and time again. Once a contract ends, it’s returned to our workshop to be refurbished and used again on a new contract.

Equipment is an Important aspect of waste management - storing waste and recyclables in suitable, secure conditions makes them safer, cleaner and easier to handle (and as such they can achieve their optimum value). Equipment provides the added benefit of reduced collections as the waste can be baled or compacted to minimise the footprint taken up for storage.

Reverse vending machines (RVMs)

Our EcoVend range delivers the cleanest loop recycling and innovative technology. Featuring touchless tech, voice recognition and online data capture, the RVMs provide a more efficient consumer-facing solution to the traditional recycling bin.

Single-use drinks containers (plastic, glass and cans) are collected and compacted, returning a monetary or non-monetary reward per container. Materials are recycled into new products rather than being incinerated, littered or downcycled. The RVM is aligned to the upcoming Deposit Return Scheme currently being implemented by the UK Government.
