Reconomy Solutions conduct an initial site waste management assessment for each Wilson Bowden Development contract, this allows site employees to raise any issues and discuss concerns, it also gives Reconomy Solutions an opportunity to determine the following: -
The size of the site and identifying any constraints that the site may have
The waste streams present on the site and the most appropriate segregation system
Location of the waste compound, where it could best be accessed by site employees and drivers
If the site is likely to have any hazardous waste and if so what is the most appropriate method of disposal
Ensuring that the site meets full legislative and Corporate Social Responsibility compliance
Once the site survey has been completed, the results are incorporated into a site waste management plan, which also includes the site's authorised waste carriers certificate, hazardous waste guidelines and Reconomy Solutions contacts.
In addition to the initial analysis, Reconomy Solutions commit a dedicated representative to ensure adherence to the plan and resolve any raised issues. The representative assesses the segregation process and produce a report on site progress, highlighting waste tonnage and costs and the number of skips used.
Reconomy Solutions support each site from start to finish, offering continual advice and guidance. With the provision of signage and tool box talks to sub contractors, Reconomy Solutions are also committed to continued education on site, offering guidance, advice and support.
