Leading outsourced waste management service provider, Reconomy, has launched its latest Sustainability Review, chronicling the company’s many successes over the last 18 months, and outlining its vision for the future.
Reconomy is committed to changing business attitudes to waste by developing technology-led solutions and pioneering new ways of working. This is enhancing the experience of Reconomy’s numerous customers by giving them faster access to critical waste data as well as improving the efficiency and reliability of the service they receive.
The Sustainability Review summarises Reconomy’s recently revamped sustainability strategy, which has been created to enhance social value, reduce the company’s own environmental impact and help it to achieve continued business growth. Highlights of the Sustainability Review include:
• An overview of the various apps that Reconomy has developed over the last 18 months for both its customers and suppliers to streamline ordering and data capture
• A summary of the company’s recent business acquisitions, which combined with Reconomy’s organic revenue streams, are helping to drive the company towards its target of £200m turnover by 2020.
• Examples of innovative working practices that ensure every opportunity is taken to minimise the amount of waste sent to landfill.
Reconomy's Chief Executive, Paul Cox, said: “We have achieved a phenomenal amount during the last 18-months, and this new Sustainability Review captures many of these fantastic achievements. Our vision is to be the leading sustainable business within our sector, working smarter and greener, with environmental consideration given to everything we set out to achieve.”
